More so than ever, people are tired of other people telling them what they should think. Even if the messages are positive, we just don’t want to hear it anymore. I think what we want to hear is from each other. We want to hear what you think. We wan to hear your story. If you look at the success of the Humans of New York Facebook page, the main reason it is so successful at changing the story for people is that it allows people to speak their truth.

When you speak your Truth, you are speaking the Truth, because what you say is true for you. This is unlike all of the political speech, all of the marketing we receive, even much of the advice we receive from experts. People are longing for authenticity.

The purpose of this project is simple. Allow people to record their Truth, upload it to YouTube, and share it on Sustainable Human. What do you want to talk about? Well, that is up to you. It could be a personal story that is important to you, something you feel passionately about, or an expression of emotion.
